Whether you are still basking in the energy of love that was so present yesterday, or you’re glad to be past Valentine’s day, you can treat yourself to this yummy bowl and some self love ANY DAY you want! 💕
Why do I love this smoothie?
You know I love putting veggies in my smoothie bowls. The cauliflower + nuzest protein creates a perfect creamy texture. Add all the benefits of beets, the flavor of the strawberry, and the fun pink color, and you get a super fun and nourishing bowl to enjoy!
*Note – for kids, pregnant or breastfeeding moms, remove the maca
Strawberry beet smoothie bowl
1 1/2 cups frozen steamed cauliflower
1/4 roasted red beet
1 cup almond milk
2 scoops Nuzest vanilla protein
1 teaspoon maca*
1 teaspoon cinnamon
For the Topping:
1 tablespoon cacao
1/4 c mixed seeds/nuts.
A few mint leaves
1. Blend the ingredients for your topping first, then remove from the blender and set aside.
2. Blend all the smoothie ingredients in your high speed blender until thick and creamy
3. Scoop or pour your smoothie into a bowl, top with your blended topping, and tear a few mint leaves for the finishing touch.
