Here’s a little clip from last week’s SHE DAY: LA about food freedom and fad diets. I dieted from ages 12-37, which created (or stemmed from) immense fear around food. How did I get to the place I am today, where I work to honor my body with food, and experience food freedom? It’s all about gathering the courage to acknowledge and accept my sugar addiction and eating disorder, and finding the support I need to stop comparing myself to others, choosing instead to honor my body’s individual needs.
