This charcoal smoothie is perfect for your festival weekend. Taking charcoal before ingesting food and drinks that are more toxic/unclean than your usual intake can help your body to cope. Anytime you take charcoal, you’ll want to accompany it with extra water to help flush the toxins from your system. This smoothie is great for intestinal cleansing, liver detox, and hangovers. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender.
1 cup coconut water
½ cup coconut milk
1 large frozen banana
2 capsules charcoal (open the capsules and use the charcoal)
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
2 tablespoons coconut butter
