green bone broth smoothie

I love drinking bone broth everyday.  It is so great for inflammation and gut health, it gives me tons of energy and helps me curb sugar cravings.  Now that it is getting warmer, this bone broth smoothie is a nice, cooler version which (bonus!) allows me to get all of my greens for the day.  Sometimes I will add a scoop of collagen powder for extra protein.  If you prefer your smoothies sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey.  Enjoy!


Ingredients
1 cup chilled bone broth
1/2 cup coconut water or water
Handful of kale
1/4 avocado
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Juice of 1/2 lime
12 leaves parsley
12 leaves mint
1 tablespoon ginger
pinch sea salt
1/2 cup ice
Blend until creamy!
