raw detox salad

The health benefits of this salad are amazing. I love a raw meal when I’m cleansing and detoxing.  Beets are great for the blood and liver, and (tip!) half an avocado per day for 30 days is a great way to help detox the liver.  Parsley leaves also help with cleansing with the liver and kidneys. Activated pumpkin seeds are great for helping to remove intestinal parasites, great for the heart and liver, plus they have lots of omega 3s and good fat!  You can’t lose with this delicious salad, which also happens to be really easy to make.


4 large carrots, peeled and grated

1 large beet, peeled and grated

1 avocado

1 teaspoon Himalayan sea salt

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

juice of ½ lemon

handful parsley leaves

handful activated pumpkin seeds

Mash together the carrot, beet, avocado, lemon, salt and olive oil with your hands in a bowl until well combined.  Gently add in the parsley leaves and top with pumpkin seeds….then enjoy!
